Palatal teratoma associated with cleft palate- A rare case report

چکیده

Teratomas are benign tumours that commonly seen in the sacrococcygeal region and ovaries. It consists of cells from layers ectoderm, endoderm mesoderm. Localised teratomas head neck rare origin. can be size a small polyp or it may grow as an extension to skull base. This case report highlights presence congenital teratoma palatine child. The processes median nasal septum have failed fuse, thus leading development cleft palate failure fusion related epignathus obstructing oropharyngeal connection. diagnosis was confirmed radiologically histopathologically. lesion surgically excised defect corrected single stage surgical procedure.
